Ceremony Honors Martin Luther King, 25th Annual Day Of Service

SOUTHOLD, NY — Once again, Southold Town will come together to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with words, song and fellowship.

The Southold Town Anti-Bias Task Force's memorial celebration will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the North Fork United Methodist Church, located at 43960 Country Road 48, Middle Road, in Southold.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the federal day of service, "which encourages all of us to volunteer to improve our communities," the Southold Town Anti-Bias Task Force said.

The event's keynote speaker will be Rev. Donald Butler of the Community Baptist Church of Southampton.
