Vine Science: Cornell’s Experimental Vineyard
Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County’s Viticulturists, Alice Wise and Libby Tarleton, on a tour and tasting of international grape varieties in their beautiful experimental vineyard in Riverhead. Compare the flavor of different clones of Chardonnay. See and taste Syrah, Dornfelder, Aligote, Malvasia and other exotic grape varieties just days before they are picked to make wine. (Please note: Attendees should dress comfortably for this wagon ride and walking tour of the vineyard.)
