Shelter Island Public Library to Feature Talk Show Icon, Dick Cavett at the 22nd Annual Book & Author Luncheon

On Saturday, June 30, 2012, Dick Cavett, Emmy award-winning talk show host & comedian and his wife, fellow author Martha Rogers, Ph. D., will be the featured guests at the Shelter Island Public Library’s 22^nd Annual Book & Author Luncheon.  The event will be moderated by TV journalist & best-selling author, Gary Paul Gates. 

The luncheon will begin at noontime at The Ram's Head Inn on Shelter Island. Tickets go on sale May 15. Tickets are $75 each ($50 of which is tax-deductible). Open seating reservation and choice of entree required and may be made in person at the library or by phone – 631 749-0042.

Copies of Dick Cavett's newest book, Talk Show, and Martha Rogers' co-authored book, Extreme Trust, will be available for purchase and autographing at the luncheon.
