Five North Fork Residents Graduate From University of Vermont
The university held their 214th commencement ceremonies on May 17.

Several local residents were among the 2,975 students who were awarded a variety of degrees -- undergraduate, graduate and M.D. -- during the University of Vermont’s 214th commencement ceremonies on May 17.
Among degree recipients were students from 42 states and 85 international students from 16 countries.
The following North Fork natives were among the graduates from University of Vermont:

- Breton Worthington, of Southold, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Katherine Golde, of Cutchogue, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Katherine Wilcenski, of Cutchogue, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Jacqueline Berkoski, of Cutchogue, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiation Therapy from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
- Jessica Simon, of Southold, graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in Medicine from the College of Medicine.
