Greenport Man Involved in Fatal DWI Crash to be Arraigned
The arraignment will be held on Tuesday in Southold Town Justice Court.

A Greenport man involved in a fatal DWI crash on Saturday, Dec. 6 will be arraigned on Tuesday in Southold Town Justice Court, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
John Costello drove his pickup truck into the oncoming lane as he traveled east on Route 25 in Greenport, according to police.
A passenger in the vehicle Costello struck, Miguel Bartolone, died of his injuries at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Town police arrested the 71-year-old Costello on one charge of driving while intoxicated. While hospitalized, he posted $250 bail and was issued a desk appearance ticket.
At his initial arraignment Tuesday, Costello will be formally charged with one count of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
