Greenport School Budget Passes, Board Members Elected
Voters have decided on a proposed 2015-16 budget.
Greenport residents approved the district’s $16.9 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 213-36.
The budget represents a 3.37 percent spending increase over the current year.
On the Greenport Board of Education, Babette Cornine and Daniel Creedon both ran unopposed.
