'Have A Heart' Dinner Benefits Hungry in Southold

NORTH FORK, NY - Once again, the North Fork community will gather for an annual event organized to help the area’s most needy.

Community Action of Southold Town will offer its annual “Have A Heart” dinner Friday night, hosted by Peconic Landing at the community center, with seatings at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Proceeds of the event will benefit CAST’s winter emergency fund; the organization helps to provide food, warm clothing, and guidance with issues such as heat to the needy in Southold.

Dinner includes Caesar salad, lasagna — both meat and vegetarian — garlic bread, coffee and dessert. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under. Also featured will be music by Lea Kendall.
