Mattituck-Cutchogue Students Participate in Weather 2040 Poster Contest

Several Mattituck-Cutchogue students entered the Optimum Community and The Weather Channel-Weather 2040 Poster contest earlier this week.
The contest encouraged students in grades 3 through 8 to submit a poster of what they imagine the weather would look like in the future and how meteorologists would determine our daily forecast in the year 2040.

There were 18 students from Cutchogue East Elementary School and 58 students from Mattituck-Cutchogue Jr./Sr. High School who entered the contest.
Winners were selected in the 3rd through 5th and 6th through 8th grade categories.

Students were recogizned by Optimum at a prize presentation at Mattituck High School on Thursday.
