Mattituck High School Senior Receives National Recognition For Film Making
The student received the highest honor for artistically talented seniors.

Mattituck High School senior Oliver Orr has recently been named as a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts, the nation’s highest honor for artistically talented high school seniors.
Only 60 candidates nationwide can be nominated each year.

The winners will be announced in May.

Orr is a director and his short film ”Precipice”, made him a finalist winner in the national YoungArts program in cinematic arts.
