Good morning, North Fork neighbors and friends! Top in the news today, the North Fork's beloved longtime pediatrician Dr. Thomas Mercier and his wife and nurse Barbara headed to Ukraine recently to help those in need. Their story is one of incredible caring and courage — and such an inspiration.

Also, with the lack of new volunteers coupled with an uptick in calls, our local fire departments desperately need to bolster their ranks. The Cutchogue Fire Department will be hosting a recruitment event soon; check it out. These heroes deserve out utmost respect and admiration, and need our help.
