🌱 North Fork Daily: Desperate Search For Formula + Pet Adoptions

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

(Patch Media)

Happy Friday, North Fork neighbors and friends! Top in the news today, the baby formula shortage has frantic parents scouring the stores for miles and even enlisting the help of family and friends who live far away. I can't imagine having an infant and worrying about how to feed my child. The struggle is real, and some mothers spoke with Patch about their desperate search.

Also, the shelters are full at The League locations in Peconic and Aquebogue, and adoptions are needed before Gabby Stroup can bring in a transport of other dogs facing euthanization. Can you help give a dog a home — and save a life?

Until tomorrow. . . .

First, today's weather:

Areas of low clouds and fog. High: 63 Low: 55.
