🌱 North Fork Daily: Homeless Pups A'Plenty + Parklets To Return?

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

(Patch Media)

Happy Friday, North Fork neighbors and friends! Gabrielle Stroup at The League is known affectionately as a "puppy pusher," fiercely dedicated in her mission of finding shelter dogs their forever homes. Another transport is coming to Peconic from Georgia Saturday. Can you help give a homeless pup a new beginning?

Also, according to a report by our friends at the Suffolk Times, the Greenport Business Improvement District is looking to bring back the parklets, seating on Front Street for outdoor dining, this season? Would you like to see them return? Let us know.

Until tomorrow . . .

First, today's weather:

Rain, heavy at times. High: 38 Low: 20.
