🌱 North Fork Daily: Parklets Voted Down + Wrestling Champ
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

Happy Friday, North Fork neighbors and friends! Top in the news today, the Greenport village board voted unanimously Thursday night to reject a plan that would have brought the parklets back for the 2022 season.
Over the past week, residents on both sides of the issue have offered impassioned pleas: Business owners implored the board to bring the parklets back, saying the outdoor dining solution was a veritable lifesaver during the pandemic. Other longtime residents said they had concerns about traffic, safety, parking — with some just wanting Greenport back to what it once was.
How do you feel about the decision? Please send your thoughts to Lisa.Finn@patch.com for a future article.
Also in the news, a Mattituck senior made his hometown proud, bringing home the state title in wrestling.
