🌱 North Fork Daily: School Threat A Scam: PD + LGBTQ+ Leaders

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, North Fork neighbors and friends!

In the news today, Southold Police have determined that a "violent" online school shooting threat to Southold Junior and Senior High School last week was a scam. However, the issue of school shootings has instilled fears in parents and children that have changed us all. I'm working on an in-depth story on how the threat of school shootings has changed you and your family. How do you speak to your kids about the threat? What do you do to keep your children safe? And what do you think needs to be done to stop school shootings?

Please email your thoughts to Lisa.Finn@patch.com. I want to hear from you.

Until tomorrow. . . .
