The third-prize-winning ticket was purchased at the ShopRite store in Riverhead; another was sold at Northern 1 Convenience in Flushing. The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on April 2 were: 6, 28, 47, 58, and 59 and the Powerball was 18. (Patch)
  4. Harbor Seal Found In Riverside Traffic Circle: A seal was found in the Riverside traffic circle Sunday, police said. According to Southampton Town Police, at 6:31 a.m., dispatchers received a 911 call about the seal, seen off Woodhull Road in the Thrifty Beverage parking lot. (Patch)

Stony Brook professors address the Ukraine crisis at teach-in: "During a teach-in at Stony Brook University March 23, a panel of professors gave their take on the invasion of Ukraine, including perspectives on the war, propaganda efforts and the impact on American public opinion," TBR News Media reports.
