🌱 North Fork Daily: Senor Taco Fire + Wedding Giveback + Wow House
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

Happy Monday, North Fork neighbors and friends! Top in the news this morning, a fire at the new location of Senor Taco in Southold brought out firefighters Saturday night. Thankfully, the damage was not major and no one was hurt — but what struck me as I stood there outside as the lights flashed, was how grateful I am to have these dedicated men and women volunteering day after day for decades to keep our hometown safe.
No matter what the weather, the day, the hour, our fire department and ambulance volunteers rush to every call, to every fire and emergency, to keep us all protected.
We are so very, very blessed to have their hearts — so dedicated to community and to the North Fork.
Also in the news, the lucky military couple who's won Peconic Landing's Annual Veteran's Day Wedding Giveback was announced last week. Peconic Landing has created something very special with this contest — a chance to honor our young heroes who have chosen to spend their lives in service to the United States. It's a lovely event; congratulations to this year's winners!
Until tomorrow. . . .
