🌱 North Fork Daily: State Of Town, Village + Seal Video + School Show

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

(Patch Media)

Hello, North Fork neighbors and friends! Top in the news today, on Friday, a seal who captivated hearts near and far after he was found in the Riverside traffic circle Sunday was released.

And in one of those "you've got to see it to believe it" moments, the video shows the pup turning around to face his rescuers, as if saying thank you and good-bye, one last time. Watch the video here. Thank you to all who came together to bring this seal pup to safety. This is a story that speaks to the heroes in our communities who come together to rescue not just people, but animals, who would be lost without them.

Also, Mattituck High School is presenting its spring play, "The Curious Savage," tonight. The talented teens dedicate hours of rehearsal to present these compelling performances — don't miss your chance to see them shine.

Enjoy your Saturday. . . .
