Orient Teacher to Receive Teacher Services Award

The award will be given by SCOPE Education Services of Long Island at a dinner later this month.

Local North Fork teacher Linwood Bogden, of Orient, has recently been selected by SCOPE Education Services of Long Island to receive the Teacher Services Award.

Bogden will receive the award at SCOPE’s 14th Annual School District Awards Dinner on March 23, at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook.

Bogden has been teaching music at the Oysterponds Elementary School for 10 years.

She is being recognized for her outstanding service to the school district by providing exceptional instrumental, string and vocal programs to the Pre-K through 6th grade students of Orient and East Marion.
