Oysterponds Union Free School District announced that schools will run on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, Jan. 29.
The delay comes due to heavy snowfall that hit Long Island this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning–in effect from 1 p.m. Monday until midnight Wednesday–for the entire island.
