Police: Cutchogue Man Arrested on DWI Charge in Mattituck

A Cutchogue man was arrested on a DWI charge in Mattituck early Sunday morning, according to Southold Town Police.
Israel Ruiz-Veliz was stopped for failure to maintain lane on Route 25 by Sigsbee Lane in Mattituck, police said.

He failed several road side sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, police said.
Veliz was held overnight pending his arraignment at Southold Justice Court in the morning.
