Police: Greenport Man Reported Missing Since Sunday

A Greenport man was reported missing by his wife this past Sunday, according to SoutholdLocal.

Michael George O’Brien, 55, who was reported missing by his wife, Mary, is described as a white man, 6-foot, 250 pounds with brown hair and a beard, according to SoutholdLocal.

He left his house suddenly in his Chevy pickup truck without any personal belongings on Sunday and has not contacted his family since then, Southold Police Chief Martin Flatley told SoutholdLocal.

His wife described his car to “a gold/beige Chevy extended cab pickup with license plate number 8836JS,” SoutholdLocal reports.

“Our officers completed an initial investigation, but were not able to locate him. A missing persons report was filed and his information transmitted to all police sites,” Flately told SoutholdLocal.

According to his wife, O’Brien was depressed, according to SoutholdLocal.
