Police ID Man Charged in N. Babylon Gas Station Robbery
Police say the man is not behind the several other recent gas station robberies in the area.

A man was arrested shortly after robbing a North Babylon gas station Monday afternoon, police said.
Police say 29-year-old Eddie Fernandez, of North Babylon, was armed with a knife when he robbed the Lukoil station at 170 Bay Shore Road at 4:50 p.m. Monday.
Fernandez fled the scene with cash, police said. No injuries were reported.

Fernandez is not connected to the other recent gas station robberies in Deer Park and North Babylon over the past month, police said.
The same Lukoil station was robbed on Nov. 26.

Fernandez is charged with first degree robbery and resisting arrest.
