Police: Peconic Man Arrested After Driving With Open Beer and Suspended License
Southold Police arrested the man on a felony DWI charge on Friday.

A Peconic man was arrested on Halloween last Friday on a felony DWI charge for driving with an open beer.
Mario Rolando Uyu-Puluc was observed operating a black 1996 Nissan Maxima, at about 10:45 p.m. last Friday, with an open 12 oz. bottle of Modelo beer in the center console.

He consented to field-sobriety tests and was found to be intoxicated, according to Southold Town Police.
Additionally, Uyu-Puluc was found to have a suspended New York State client ID for a prior DWI offense.

was arrested, transported to Southold Town Police Department headquarters, processed, and held overnight to await arraignment before Southold Town Justice Court.
