Dickinson Avenue Students Take Principal's Challenge

Thirty students at Dickinson Avenue Elementary School participated in the Principal’s Challenge during the summer.

Children were asked to participate in online reading activities. Students in grades K-2 who logged in at least eight hours and students in grades 3-5 who logged in at least 10 hours were invited to a special play date with Principal Patricia Essenfeld on Oct. 11.

The morning was rainy, but the children made their own sunshine in the all-purpose room, as they decorated pumpkins together and Halloween music favorites played over the PA system.
