No One Injured in East Northport House Fire

The residents of an East Northport home were away when a fire ripped through their house on Wednesday night.

An elderly woman and her son were not home when a fire ripped through their East Northport home on Wednesday night, charring a bedroom and living room.

The East Northport Fire Department arrived at the home on 250 Clay Pitts Road after receiving an 11:31 p.m. call from a neighbor and quickly subdued the fire, said Chief Michael Tarantino.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation.
