Elwood Kindergarteners Complete First Ever Reading Unit
The students were given a "city of reading" necklace to celebrate their literary accomplishments.
Kindergarten students at Harley Avenue Primary School in the Elwood Union Free School District received a “city of reading” necklace to celebrate the conclusion of their first reading unit.
In recognition of their literary accomplishments, Principal Elissa Toubin gave each child a special key necklace, which symbolized their access to the “city of reading.”
