Northport Man Killed in Commack Crash

A 42-year-old Northport man died Monday after his car crashed into a tree in Commack, police said.

According to police, Gregory Kelly was driving a 2013 Honda Civic south on Old Commack Road, just south of Old Northport Road, when he apparently lost control of the car and struck a tree at 7 a.m.

Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
