Police Log: Arrest for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, Illegally Tinted Windows

Wednesday, April 29
At 5:41 p.m., police reported door to door solicitors on Seaview Avenue. The solicitor, who was selling roofing supplies, was advised of the Village Ordinance and agreed to cease his activities.
At 7:19 p.m., police reported two pitbulls on the loose on W. Scudder Place. A man put the two dogs in his car and said he would hold onto them while he checked on the dogs’ collars with his veterinarian.

Thursday, April 30
At 2:43 a.m., police assisted a juvenile who was suffering from a febrile seizure on Hilton Avenue. He was transported to Huntington Hospital by Northport Fire Rescue.

At 1:15 p.m., police assisted a caretaker who had a dementia patient that left the house on Goldenrod Avenue. Officers located the woman, who was walking with a walker, and returned her safely home. A relative was contacted and advised of the situation.
At 5:48 p.m., police reported a disturbance in which two women were banging on a door on Woodbine Avenue and identifying themselves as probation officers. The complainant told officers that she does not know anyone on probation. Officers searched the area and could not locate the women.
At 11:13 p.m., police arrested a suspect for criminal possession of a forged instrument, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of alcohol under 21 years of age and illegally tinted windows. The subject was arrested on Eatons Neck Road.
