Police Log: Juvenile Found Intoxicated, Incoherent
Excerpts from the Northport Police Department log.

Wednesday, April 8
At 9:51 p.m., police reported a disturbance in which a person threw a glass bottle out of a car window and almost hit another person on Norwood Avenue. The person in the car was not located.
At 10:14 p.m., police assisted a juvenile who was suffering from a possible alcohol overdose on James Street. Officers arrived to the home and found the juvenile intoxicated and incoherent. The juvenile’s mother was caring for him when officers arrived. The juvenile was previously drinking vodka at an unknown location, police said. Northport Rescue transported him to Huntington Hospital.

Thursday, April 9
At 1:13 p.m., police assisted a woman who was suffering from a possible stroke on Waterside Avenue. Northport Rescue transported her to Huntington Hospital.

At 2:56 p.m., police reported a parking complaint in which a vehicle was parked on Milland Drive for a number of days. Officers spoke to the owner who said the vehicle was disabled and it will be taken to the mechanic Friday afternoon.
