84 Nyack HS Students Recognized
84 have been named Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board

Eight-four Nyack High School students have been named Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the national college-level 2011 Advanced Placement (AP) Exams. Only about 18 percent of the 1.9 million students worldwide taking the exams have achieved scholar status.
Scholars are those who have taken multiple AP courses and score at least a 3 (5 Highest scoring) on three of them. Most of the nation’s colleges award credit or placement advancement for scores of 3 or higher on the tests.

Five students, already named above, qualified for the highest honor National AP Scholar Award by earning an average grade of 4 or higher on all AP exams taken and on eight or more of these exams. Congratulations to:
