Hazardous Outlooks Issued For Thunderstorms In The Hudson Valley
Damaging winds and flash flooding are possible, the National Weather Service says.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service has issued hazardous outlooks for the Hudson Valley.
For Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Orange counties, and the Long Island Sound, there is the potential for isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms Friday. The primary threat is damaging winds.
For Dutchess and Ulster counties: Scattered thunderstorms are expected today mainly during the
afternoon into the evening. There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms, with the main threat damaging wind gusts. Also, there is low probability threat for hail and/or a tornado. In addition, locally heavy rainfall may lead to ponding of water in urban, low-lying and poor drainage areas.

Don't expect the storm to bring a dramatic change in temperatures.
"While the passage of the front will bring a slight drop in temperature and humidity levels to interior locations from parts of the central Appalachians to northern and western New England on Saturday, the change may be practically unnoticeable along the Interstate 95 corridor," said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist.
