
The snowstorm that crippled much of the East Coast will be gone (and good riddance).
The good news is that on Sunday temperatures will be in the mid 30s and skies will be mostly sunny.
The bad news is that everyone has to clean up. And there’s quite a bit to clean up. According to the National Weather Service, New City had gotten 13 inches by 2:30 p.m. and Stony Point reported 8.5 inches by 1 p.m.

Michael Brennan and Jacqueline Di Nuzzo-Brennan braved the elements to get married Saturday morning at Clarkstown Town Hall. Clarkstown Town Clerk Justin Sweet officiated the ceremony. The couple are from Garnerville, and currently reside in Tappan.was restored in the afternoon.
O&R reported five customers without power as of noon; power was restored in the afternoon. A stretch of Piermont Avenue will be closed most of the day.
(Too bad the football playoffs weren’t on Saturday, it would have been a perfect day for it with many of us snowed in.)
As of 11AM, the National Weather Service predicted snow accumulation of 13-18 inches locally.
