Rockland's Jewish Community Celebrates Israel's Independence
Jewish Federation of Rockland County invites Nyack-Piermont to the celebration recognizing Israel's 68th year of independence on May 12.

From the Jewish Federation of Rockland County:
The Jewish Federation of Rockland County, JCC Rockland and Rockland Jewish Academy will hold a celebration on Thursday, May 12 to recognize and celebrate Israel's 68th year of independence. The event will run from 4 to 8 PM at the Rockland Jewish Community Campus in West Nyack, New York.
Attendees will learn about life in Israel through interactive activity stations designed by Liraz Levi, Rockland County's community shaliach (Israel emissary). There will be crafts and face painting for children, as well as live music, dancing and a falafel dinner. Cost is $5 for adults with advanced registration here; $8 at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
