Special Event Supports Abandoned Children in Tibet
Valley Cottage-based Tibetan Home of Hope hosts its annual fundraiser at the Nyack Center.

The Tibetan Home of Hope will hold its 8th annual benefit, “An Evening in Tibet,” March 7 at the Nyack Center, 58 Depew Ave.
Hosted by famed WQXR and WNYC personality Elliot Forrest, the benefit will feature performances by electro‐acoustic violist Martha Mooke, Tibetan folk musician Techung, multi‐instrumentalist Jesse Paris Smith, and Australian‐based contemporary and traditional Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal.
The event features a traditional Tibetan food buffet, available with a suggested donation. VIP admission includes the buffet and also includes a meet and greet with the performers and the founders of Tibetan Home of Hope.
