The two are the latest in a rash of arrests made at the Tarrytown booths on I-87.
Two part-time thruway toll collectors from the Tarrytown booths on I-87 were arrested on charges of Petit Larceny and Falsifying Business Records Tuesday for allegedly stealing a combined $1,700 in separate incidents.
Arrested were Ilonca Santana, 49, of Yonkers, and Javier Colon, also 49, of the Bronx, according to state police.
Santana, who had been a toll collector for seven years, is accused of taking $993 and forging paper ledger reports to hide her crime, state police said. Colon, who had been a toll collector for 15 years, is accused of taking $672.50, and also forging documentation to conceal the illegal activity.
