WEATHER ALERT: Shovel Out and Salt Before Bedtime

See our hour-to-hour forecast to learn when the storm will stop and the temperatures will plummet.

The snow, sleet and freezing rain that have been falling since last night will stop before sundown, and that’s a good thing, because it will give people time to clean off their cars and sidewalks before everything freezes solid.

“Tonight temps will plummet to dangerously cold levels, any snow or ice not dealt with today will only become a permanent fixture with a very cold airmass locking in place,” warn the meteorologists at Hudson Valley Weather.
