Westchester Board of Legislators Majority Leader Holstein Endorses Beth Davidson for Congress in NY 17
Backing of Key Political Supporter Accelerates Campaign's District-Wide Momentum in Race Against Rep. Mike Lawler

Beth Davidson’s campaign for Congress in New York’s 17th District has been endorsed by Judah Holstein, Majority Leader of the Westchester Board of Legislators and a founding board member of Westchester Jewish Democrats, enhancing her leadership position in the Democratic primary race against Republican Rep. Mike Lawler.
"In my personal capacity, I proudly endorse Beth Davidson for Congress in NY 17," said Holstein. "In a crowded field, she brings the seriousness and readiness needed to serve effectively. Her experience as a legislator and policymaker serving a diverse Rockland community gives her perspective on the issues families across the district face, along with a personal, not abstract, understanding of the Jewish experience".
"I'm so grateful to have the support of my friend and colleague Judah Holstein, said Davidson. "From mental health to food insecurity to putting a check on AI, we share numerous priorities for our diverse communities, especially under Donald Trump and Mike Lawler's Big Ugly Agenda. I'm also thankful for Leg. Holstein's role in founding Westchester Jewish Democrats, a crucial voice in our party".

With endorsements by over 150 grassroots community leaders and the backing of Rockland County’s Democratic Party previously secured, Davidson's latest endorsement from Holstein shows growing district-wide momentum for her battleground seat Congressional campaign.
Davidson, the only Democratic candidate in the NY-17 congressional race who has won previous election campaigns against Republicans and holds public legislative office, is currently an elected Rockland County Legislator and former Nyack School Board Vice President. A thyroid cancer survivor, she has advocated for affordable healthcare and is working to lower the real costs families face. She and her husband, Jeff, moved to Nyack 20 years ago, where they are raising their two children, both of whom attend public school.
