7 Dates You Need to Know on the Ossining Public Schools Calendar

OSSINING, NY — The 2016-17 school year is almost here, and while students may be dreading it, the time has come to make preparations.

Here are seven important dates for the first two months, to get you into the swing.

All Ossining public school students will be back in school Sept. 1. The return is immediately followed by another break.

First day of school: Sept. 1

Labor Day (school closed): Sept. 5

Rosh Hashanah (school closed): Oct. 3, Oct. 4

Columbus Day (school closed): Oct. 10

School closed: Oct. 11

Yom Kippur (school closed): Oct 12
