The workshop combines Creativity and Art with Kundalini Yoga, a blend of postures, breathwork, mantra and meditation as taught by Master teacher Yogi Bhajan. The Yoga allows a deep connection within and the Art following gives space for physical creative expression, personal and group messages that appear outside on paper. Kundalini Yoga is accessible to all fitness levels ~ no art experience is necessary.

TWO OF HEARTS ART & YOGA FACILITATORS:

Mandeep Kaur Khalsa is Kundalini Yoga student and certified teacher. She has studied with many senior teachers and most recently spent time in India with Yogi Amandeep Singh in meditation and prayer at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Mandeep took Sikh vows at the Golden Temple, the holiest of Sikh Gurdwaras. Her love, passion and commitment to a daily practice of Kundalini yoga and Sikh Dharma have led to her authentic open heart from which to live and teach.

Mandeep studied graphic design and photography at the School of Visual Arts and International Center of Photography in NYC. She worked for 15 years in the newspaper publishing business as Editorial Art Director and Photographer for S.I. Communications, Inc., in Scarsdale, NY.

Beth Hardev Kaur Sax is a Kundalini Yoga and Art & Yoga teacher. She came to teaching during her 25-year career in the media business after completing a Kundalini Research Institute certification at Golden Temple Yoga in Katonah, New York. She is passionate about working with people and groups to facilitate space that allows interaction with each other and ideas, images, words and music.

In her media consulting work, Beth brings messaging to life for clients including Condé Nast Media, Fairchild Fashion Media, Hearst Magazines and The New York Times. Beth manages events for marketing, conferences and photo and video shoots. She recently also began substitute teaching as a Visual Arts teacher for children Kindergarten through 12th grade at Croton on Hudson, New York schools.
