Assemblywoman Galef "Shadowed" by Croton Teen Participating in Students Inside Albany Program

Assemblywoman Galef "Shadowed" by a Croton Teen Chosen to participate in the Students Inside Albany Program by the LWV of the Rivertowns

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef was joined by Ijangmarie Abam-DePass on Monday who was chosen by the League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns to attend the Students Inside Albany program hosted by the New York State League Education Foundation. The program is designed to increase student awareness of their responsibility to foster representative government and provide the tools necessary for meeting that responsibility. Monday’s focus was on lobbying.

Ms. Abam-DePass is a junior at Croton-Harmon High School, where she sits on the teen leadership council, is a member of the orchestra, and belongs to the World of Money Financial Institute. She has also been active in her community at the God Squad sleepout to advocate for the homeless.
