Community Rallying For Staff Of Burned-Out Landmark Diner
The diner, destroyed by fire Thursday, was a frequent contributor to Gullotta House, a charity based in Briarcliff Manor.

The community has begun rallying around the owners and staff of the Landmark Diner, which was destroyed by fire Thursday morning.
Fundraising efforts by Gullotta House in Briarcliff Manor include donations through its website plus a special raffle in Nelson Park in Ossining Saturday, said Matthew Gullotta.
Gullotta said Landmark owner Aristidis Thanos has been a steady supporter of his charity, which helps Westchester residents facing hardships.

"Ari Thanos and his staff have very generously given to all of us for years. It’s time for us to band together and help this family in need," he said. "All donations received will go to the employees who are now without work or an income. Thank you in advance!"
(When you donate, be sure to write "Landmark Diner" in the 'memo' field.)

The diner was to be contributing food to Gullotta House's Family Fun & Music Festival Saturday in Nelson Park.
"Instead, we'll be helping them," Gullotta said. There will be a special raffle at the event to collect money for the employees' families.
