Ossining Officials Change Decisions About Friday Classes
Most northern Westchester school officials are hedging their bets.

UPDATE — Ossining schools are closed Friday.
OSSINING, NY — School districts across northern Westchester County are hedging their bets Thursday evening, calling for delayed openings of two or three hours. As of Thursday night, Croton-Harmon and Ossining have called for a 2 hour delay for Friday. But.
“Tomorrow morning, please continue to be alert for communications, as the "Delay" can become a "School Closing." said Christopher Manno, superintendent of Bedford schools.

Briarcliff Manor schools have already announced they'll be closed, due to the drifting snow and frigid temperatures.
That's what the nor-easter called a cyclone bomb left in its wake. As the massive low pressure system moved away it left room for very, very cold air to move in from Canada. Temperatures Friday into Sunday will be far below normal, and wind chills will make it feel like more than 10 degrees below zero, meteorologists are saying.
