GOP Fight to Replace Greg Ball in the 40th State Senate District
Republicans go to the polls Tuesday to choose a candidate for the November general election.

After Greg Ball announced he would not seek a third term as state senator in the 40th district, two hopefuls emerged to seek the GOP line on the ballot: Terence Murphy and Robert Castelli.
Yorktown resident Murphy is a member of the Yorktown Town Board. Castelli, who lives in Goldens Bridge, served on the Lewisboro Town Board from 2000-2004 and in the New York State Assembly from 2010-2012.
The winner will face Democrat Justin Wagner in November.
