Letter to the Editor: Carbonaro Should Be Elected Trustee

On November 3rd, residents of the Village of Ossining have an opportunity. A chance to revitalize local government by electing a candidate with a clear vision for change within our community and the leadership ability to make it happen. That candidate is Luke Carbonaro.

I can share words here about Luke’s platform and goals, but you can read that for yourself at www.OssiningLuke.com. I’d much rather use this letter to tell you a little bit about Luke as a citizen, human being, and friend; for it is those characteristics which should serve to inform your choice on November 3rd as much as any resume and campaign platform.

I have known Luke for many years, he is my fire company’s Lieutenant. Luke is a resolute, intelligent, and forward-thinking individual. His confidence, clear sense of purpose, and decisive manner have served him well as a student, community volunteer leader, and officer of the OFD.
Do not let his younger age fool you, for it belies the breadth of his relevant community experience, knowledge of governmental affairs, and solid ability to implement change.

Above all else, I want you to know that if you matter to Luke, you have his unwavering loyalty and commitment--and the Village of Ossining matters to Luke.
