Letter To The Editor: Re-elect Ossining School Trustees
The writers are parents in the district.

To the Editor:
As parents of an Ossining High School (OHS) alumnus and a current OHS student, we wholeheartedly support the re-election of Graig Galef, Lisa Rudley and Frank Schnecker to the Ossining School Board.
The unfailing advocacy efforts of these candidates, their sound and balanced understanding of the current educational challenges in the district, their long-term experience in working with parents, teachers and administrators and navigating the complex dynamics of a diverse community, the respect and recognition that the community has for them, are all qualities that undoubtedly make them the best candidates for the board.

During their board tenure, Graig, Lisa and Frank advocated and worked with Albany to significantly increase the portion of the school budget funded annually by recurring state aid funds, secured private sector grants for programs, including student mental health support, and secured funding for facility improvements with state and private contributions. Over this same period, they collaborated with the administration to improve various curricula and student experiences in the classroom. They have continuously and passionately demonstrated their commitment to the success of our schools by being forward-thinking and innovative in identifying pragmatic solutions that cater to the needs of the various student demographics.
Please join us in mailing in your ballot by June 9th to vote for the school budget and re-elect Graig Galef, Lisa Rudley, and Frank Schnecker for an innovative and strong board leadership!
