New Winery Joins Ossining & Croton-on-Hudson Farmers Markets This Weekend as Day Vendor

Coyote Kitchen is also debuting in Ossining, they make amazing jams with local fruit. FREE berry tastings at the markets, too!

Hello and Happy Summer Weekend! The farmers markets in Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson are overflowing with delicious fruits and vegetables. It’s high berry season, and this weekend, the managers of both these farmers markets will host a free seasonal tasting. In Ossining, stop by between 10 am and noon to sample the berry offerings; in Croton-on-Hudson, visit the market manager’s tent from 11 am to 1 pm.

On both Saturday and Sunday, rotating day vendors will join the weekly roster of farmers and food makers. In Ossining on Saturday, help us welcome Coyote Kitchen and Stone Age Winery.

Stone Age Winery is a New York State winery that makes under 1000 gallons of wine annually. All their grapes are picked by hand; in 2014, these busy hands gathered nearly 7 tons of grapes. All their wines are handcrafted, and their latest selection includes a Strawberry wine in limited quantities. They will be in Croton-on-Hudson on Sunday, too.

This is in additional to the markets’ wonderful farmers, cheesemongers, bread makers, bakers, pickle experts, pasture-raised meat farmers, chefs who source their ingredients locally, and MORE. See you at the markets this weekend.
