Not Great Sleeping Weather: Hudson Valley's Weekend Forecast

Get the details.

This year summer wasn’t overly warm in the Hudson Valley but it looks like fall is trying to make up for that. We’re continuing a warm stretch. Then eyes will turn to Tropical Storm Nate and its potential impact on the East Coast.

Temps will approach 80 degrees — 10-15 degrees above normal — and it will feel very humid this weekend. For Friday, it's going to be mostly sunny, though a few isolated showers could show up.

"This pattern should persist through the weekend," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "A general warm, mix of clouds and sunshine… with an ever present threat for a spot shower or sprinkle at times. If you have weekend plans, you should be fine… just be aware of a passing shower or two."

Nate is forecast to make landfall as a hurricane along the upper Gulf of Mexico coast of the U.S. on Sunday, said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist. It could bring rain as far north as the Hudson Valley by Sunday night.
