Omar Herrera Encourages Young Westchester Leaders to Attend 2016 DNC Hope Institute

Are you a politically minded progressive leaders between the ages of 20-24?

I received an invitation had to share. As a young progressive leader in New York, I know how important it is to get training, experience and have a network, all of which enable and encourage more young people in Westchester, New York and throughout the nation to consider running for office and get involved in the political progress. I feel compelled to make sure that any young student, professional or community member who wants to be part of the political process should be given the tools necessary to succeed.

Currently the DNC is seeking politically minded progressive leaders between the ages of 20-24 with little to no organizing or campaign experience to participate in the Hope Institute Winter 2016 programming. This is set to take place on next month on February 25-27, in Washington DC. All costs will be covered, including airfare to and from Washington, accommodations, meals, and ground transportation to and from Hope Institute activities.

If you attend the Hope Institute you will have a chance to hear from highly experienced operatives from around the country. Learn how to win campaign so you can be part of making a difference in 2016. If you are already involved, share this opportunity your friends or network. We together have an opportunity right now to to get another young person involved by having them apply. Applications close January 25th at midnight, please make sure you apply on time.
