New York residents are asked to vote on their local school district’s budget and board of education May 19. Here are fast facts about the elections in Briarcliff and Pleasantville.

Polls are open 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. at the Croton-Harmon High School gym, 36 Old Post Road South.

Board of Education
Trustees Andrea Furey and Giuseppina Miller seek re-election and are unopposed.
School budget
- Proposed for 2015-16: $46,076,000
- Increase over current spending: 1.49 percent
- Tax levy increase: 1.61 percent
Additional ballot proposition
Transportation purchases not to exceed $300,000 for three minivans, one full-size school bus and one minivan or station wagon.

Board of Education
Felix J. Flores and Maria Fernandez-Williams are running unopposed for two 3-year terms.

- Tax levy increase: 2.89 percent
