OSSINING, NY — The Ossining Food Pantry closed because of the new coronavirus outbreak. Stepping into the breach, organizers of a makeshift food pantry have announced two upcoming sessions.

The first is today. The next is Friday. There are three locations for people who need a little help stretching their food dollars.

  • Ossining Community Center, 9-11 a.m.
  • Market Square, 12-2 p.m. Walk-up only.
  • Star of Bethlehem Church, 4-7 p.m.

The Ossining Food Pantry usually serves about 350 people a week. It closed because of medical concerns raised by the virus, organizers said on the website.
